We are very happy to tell you that we have a new car in our mid’s. Another GT car is added to the library for our next game. The Chevrolet C6.R GT2 is one of the cool cars to have, American Muscle power to the max!
The Chevrolet Corvette C6.R GT2 is based on the road going ZR1. In accordance to the rules, the Corvette C6.R GT2 has a lot of components of the road car at its heart.
Previous Chevrolet cars, the C5-R and the C6.R, have had a great run in GT and Endurance series, in total they won 77 races and 8 Championships. The C6.R was retired in 2009 after winning the Le Mans 24H for the sixth time. Since then the C6.R GT2 has to carry on the legacy.
It is quite a looker and to top it off it sounds really nice as well!
Powered by a 5.5 ltr V8, it produces a nice and low rumble capable of standing out of a full field of GT cars. With roughly 470 Hp it does not only sound nice, it also goes like the wind. It will be a little while before you can go hands on, but until then we will keep you informed about the dev progress on this car.
