After having mentioned it to you on our forums @RaceRoom Online so many times, here it is. Our own little corner of the world wide web, where we can share and show the (sometimes weird) things that we come across while working at SimBin. Hence the name SimBin Insider.
We will do our best to keep weirdness down to a minimum and keep it focussed on the actual development. It is a blog, not Facebook. What is this and what will you get to see? Well some of us go around and arrange licenses, visit raceweekends and motorshows, living the lazy good hard life. The Art team will use this chance to show WIP assets and give insight in how our pipelines work. From scratch to final car, from CAD to track, all the ingredients for some great reads. QA will jump in and will inform you how they make our life difficult on your behalf.
We have pulled some programmers out of the dark corner they live in and we shine a bright light on the guys that make all our wishes come true. Not to forget the Sound department with their crazy noises, and the Physics department with their hocus pocus in creating race cars that drive like the real thing.
That is not all. There is more happening at SimBin than just the next big project. We have RaceRooms opening up and the road show touring the world, maybe a few new little yet powerful toys to keep you satisfied while you wait for more information. It will all take place here!
We will also regularly announce licenses and give an insight into the game’s design.
It’s now time to stop talking the talk and walk the walk, and show you the goodies.
A first full look at our new toy, let the Get Real games begin!
We asked James Glickenhaus what he thought of giving us the permission to show off his baby:
“I am very happy that SimBin will be including P 4/5 Competizione in SimBin next project. I think it’s an amazing simulation and that fans will enjoy driving her on many great tracks!” James said, and we thank him for the opportunity!
More to come to you in the near future!
In the meantime you can follow Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus on their website or on their facebook.
